Today the sky reflects violet on the marsh

as statues stand shrouded purple in Catholic Churches.

Today my eyes weep blue tears, mirroring the sky,

at the slights, the fights, the cruelty of human nature.

Mine but pinpricks by comparison

to the persecution, execution and death

of innocents, of earth, of nature

and of He who was known as Jesus.

        Well, thank you. Is everything okay? Or are you just taking a vacation from posts? I think one needs to once in awhile. Are you going away? I do appreciate your comments and taking the time to read mine. I am pretty much up on all of yours. I discovered that WP said I was not following your blog and was not receiving notificiations of new posts. I followed long ago so I refollowed and am now receiving them. Will miss yours next month.
