ApPAIRition
This is the keynote piece from my new series called “ApPAIRitions” in which I explore the relationships between different views of the world. I have 20 of them which I hope to display at some point. They are diptychs and there are few triptychs as well.
is that an appaloosa?

I am sorry, I don’t know. Was taken years ago when I knew nothing. Now let me ask you, isn’t there a slang word, maybe Italian, lallapaloosa or some such thing. I vaguely remember my mother calling me that. Also I apologize, I think some of my likes for your posts have not registered as such.

I asked because I’ve never seen an appaloosa myself but always admired them. I don’t know if it’s Italian, but lollapalooza would mean something beautiful or otherwise wonderful, so much so as to almost knock you out.

This horse was in a field near Appalachia. It was all alone and beautiful in the dappled sunlight.
Thanks for the meaning– not sure if that was the word or not my mother used– she meant something a little daffy.

What lovely photographs. I can almost smell the plants and the scent of the horse. I love horse back riding in a open field. I love grooming them and giving them attention.
Now I am longing for this.

I think that’s an Appaloosa. They are pretty much white all over with black polka dots on their rumps. Beautiful pics!
