Thank you SO very much for your kind words!! They mean a lot to me, especially since I so admire your work on your blog. Your photography is so amazing in its own right but especiallly given you are blind!! God must really be guiding you. And I didn’t know your wife was also blind. What an awesome love! My husband and I are both Asperger’s so we share that disability, plus I have Bipolar thrown in. But you both are an inspiration to me, and with your dog, the “first family” of the blogosphere!

Awww thanks so much for liking my photos and always giving me encouragement!
I’m so blessed to have such an amazing wife , who’s compassionate, understanding and love builds me up daily, i think this can blossom much more when you both share a disability too. Thanks for sharing a little about you and your husband and i continually pray for you both!
Sadly Bruce (our furry angel) died over a year ago, but i love how he can still bring smiles and inspiration to others through my photos! 🙂
Thanks again for being such a loving sister to me.

Oh, I am sorry about Bruce. We lost our angel 13 years ago. I agree about love deepening when husband and wife share a disability. I am adding you and your wife to my daily prayers and I thank you for praying for us. I was so touched when you called me a loving sister and think, too, of you as a loving brother. I lost my blood brother two years ago so there is a hole in my heart.

Ronnie, Thank you so much. I am embarrassed. Those things I posted then were written in a heightened state that is long gone. I hardly can remember what it was like. We had a little barn upstate that we loved though we lived there with bats and mice and we even had a snake once but we were so happy close to nature and to God. And then slowly it became too much. We were blessed to have had this experience. I am blessed and embarrassed by your comments but thank you. Thank you.

I am very confused Ellen. I do not understand where embarrassment comes into this. I have saved this because it is terrific. Are you embarrassed because you were in a heightened state? Help me, I am in a confused state. 🙂

Actually I don’t know why. I am sorry to confuse you. You did nothing wrong. I can’t believe I wrote these things and had the confidence in them to make them public. I get embarrassed by compliments even though it is very lovely to get them. I am embarrassed to have been in a heightened state, yes, that’s it, too. I am so not there now.

I can understand you being embarrassed by compliments, that is quite common. I would be embarrassed if I had never been in a heightened state, and I mean that very sincerely. I think you have an incredible mind, feel free to feel embarrassed. I am Scottish, so I like to say just what I think. You come into the “walks on water” category, so you can’t really go wrong with anything. I hope your face is feeling comfortably warm.

Hi Ronnie,
I took a break to talk to my friend and neighbor who is having a double mastectomy Wednesday and is being so brave.
Don’t quite know what to say to your tremendous compliment except maybe to say what was said to me once by a friend long gone… you see in me a reflection of yourself!
So are you in Scotland? Where do you live? I am Sicilian American, my grandfather came over here from Sicily. He was a great man and he had a huge influence on me. We are in New York City.
Thank you, Ronnie, for all you have said and written!

Interesting point about reflection from a psychoanalytic view. However, it is more appropriate to view it from a grammatical perspective. I said you had an incredible mind which was literal, then I used hyperbole to describe your category, in order to increase the impact. Moderation is not acceptable in a super-duper compliment.
I am living in Bournemouth on the south coast of England, but it is my intention to go back to Scotland soon. Sicilian American? Interesting. The thing I liked most when living in London, was all the different nationalities I met. It is also one of the best things about blogging, interacting with people from various countries.
I am currently having internet connection problems, I think it is due to a thunderstorm.

Well, super duper compliment it was! But I do think what you see most in others is a reflection of your own character, etc. Yes, I like the multi-cultural aspects of blogging, too. I have a friend in Thailand, also Scots, and an Indian friend in Lucknow, India I am close to. I stopped blogging for a long time and lost all my connections. And two people I liked very, very much died. My husband has been the one to tell me keep the blog. My writing is non-existent now. My comments to you are low level because I am not feeling too well. May go get tested for Covid tomorrow. Where will you go to live in Scotland? Thomas, my husband, went to University of Edinburgh. He loved Scotland and the Orkney Islands. I have only been to London once and found it to be a bit forbidding though met some nice people. The one good thing about living in New York City is the multi-cultural mix here. We live in a very mixed neighborhood and building. Upstate New York is very segregated and very conservative. For that reason we chose to stay in New York. We miss the access to nature terribly though and don’t get out much at all. Anyhow sorry to go on so much. Getting ready for a real time online tour of Kerala, India now, to take some photos which is lots of fun. India is so colorful. Well, would like to hear more about you and all… if you feel like it, that is. I will now rest before the tour. Thanks again for your hugely generous compliments. Must be late there.
