The Night Light Show
Tiny, twinkling stars
suffering loneliness,
fall from the sky
and become fireflies,
flickering on and off
among the trees
calling for a mate,
lighting the night sky
and exciting vision
with twinkling
and flashing lights
and one is not sure
which is which
so bewitched are we
by the show of Light.
Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂

This is Fabulous!!! I love every single world–and echo Paul’s thoughts, fireflies from stars–this is one of those,”I wish I’d written it” poems!!! God bless you abundantly today, and always. love–

I just looked at your title again, and was struck by “Night Light”, as in the comfort to children of any age…waking in the darkness.

Super creative. Love the imagination it it! Or wait, maybe it’s true. 🙂 perhaps stars fall from the sky and become fireflies.
This is what I love so much about poetry: the magic.

Well, in the sense that we and everything is made of stardust, it is true. Thank you so much, Genie, for your valuable opinion!
