The Intimate Intruder
Je suis tres intime
avec les fleurs
I am very intimate
with the flowers
and fear I am intruding
into their secret
world of silent sensuality
visited by bees and butterflies
and other tiny creatures
seduced by their siren song
of quiet sexuality
seductive to all
who pause to peek
inside their blooms
I Think your really talented

You know I had a flower photo show a few years ago with pictures such as the ones on the post and so many people told me they looked at flowers this way, too. Thanks for looking and reading. Warmly, Ellen

Ellen, I think flowers have different personalities as I wrote in a former blog. I’m always impressed by their beauty and divinity. Have a nice week-end, greetings Mitza

Ellen, only people who are highly sensitive can feel this for others it’s just a flower. Regards Mitza

How musically poetic. It takes my imagination by the hand and guides it through your eyes.

Hadn’t thought of her but of course. You know I think I got this right but I remember reading that she said she didn’t particularly like flowers but painted so many of them because they made good models and were readily available to sit.

Fascinating, bees and butterflies, etc. go to flowers for food, however, by doing so they pollinate and so it is a form of sexuality but not an intended one by the one’s wanting food.

True. But flowers seem to have their sexuality, intentional or not, on display.

Thank you so very much for your comment and for stopping by my blog. Wishing you warm greetings and inspirations, too, from the U.S. I should be fluent in French, learned in grammar school but alas, am not. All confused with Italian and Spanish.
