Fascinating stuff, isn’t it?! (Especially when presented by the gorgeously clever Prof Brian Cox. Thanks for such an in-depth article on it. (though truth be told ‘The Sun’ is a nasty little rag that still shows topless models)
I’ve linked to the same video on my ‘About’ page – Star Death and the Creation of Elements. I love that from such a cataclysmic collapse come all the wonders of the universe. It’s a brilliant analogy for the little births and deaths we experience in every day of our lives, isn’t it?

Yes, it is totally intriguing and somewhat hard to wrap one’s mind around at the same time. I think it has great meaning in terms of looking at life but not sure how to write about it yet. I didn’t know about “The Sun” but the article is good. I am in New York City so not familiar with British papers. It is a good article nonetheless. Yes, a great analogy for our little births and deaths.
