These paintings were done in 2006. They were inspired by the beauty of natural scenes and landscapes of upstate New York… Millbrook, New York. They are fueled by my handicaps of Bipolar Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder and they represent the positive sides of these conditions.
Thank you for sharing some of the positive that comes with the difficulty you face, through your art. Letting us know about both is helpful and enlightening. 🙏💜

“Homage to Kandinsky“ appears to be the soft and gentle folds of a colorful fleece blanket. “Ultraviolet Plumes” strikes me as a tornado beginning it’s slow spin. The first strikes me as “calm” and the second, “turbulent.” Great thought-provoking art! Thank you, Ellen. 🙂
