Cruel Beauty
The nature of paranoia
feels persecuted by nature
sees flowers gossiping
their pistols pissing/hissing
stamens wagging
with stories about
the outsider
who turns away in tears
malicious, vicious words
pollinating the silence
while venomous stamens
draw ovules of blood
as the razor sharp leaves
slit slender petals

As poetically wonderful as this prose was with it’s magnificent photograph, I was left feeling very concerned about you. I don’t wish to be an alarmist. But my heart feels more than sad for you right now. I feel worried about you. I hope you are in good hands and have an insightful listener. If I could I’d send you a real life hug. I can only send this cyber hug. And tell you that you are loved and cared for with me.

Dear Yisraela,
No need to worry but I thank you SO much for your concern. A lot of times I write about past states of mind when I WAS in trouble– real trouble. Right now thanks to a loving husband, therapy and medication they are mostly memories. Thanks for the cyber hug and a hug back to you for caring. You are very special.

It did! Thanks for asking, I’m going to brag a bit ,I was one of only two students who got 100% on the test. I guess all of that studying paid off! You are sweet to ask, I appreciate it.

Projection of inner states of the mind and emotions onto the environment is powerful stuff.
Well written, it’s raw and honest.

Striking, touching, heart-wrenching poem in a form I like it personally. Blatant.
