This video should put to rest any doubt that all animals are sentient beings. I feel badly that this lion is trapped in a zoo but at least he was saved from death. Obviously never forgot his saviour.

What a beautiful animal – I wonder what it feels like to be hugged by a lion. It’s a shame he ended up in a wildlife park. But yes it definitely proves animals have feelings and intelligence – I get the impression from this that the lion was quite overwhelmed.
