Blossoms of Heartbreak
Teardrops/raindrops
upon the nascent leaves
of spring weeds in the marsh
a chance april shower
the brimming overflow
falling from red, watery eyes
Dreadful is death
most of all in spring
our Dearest dying amid booming, blooming life
and Spring sprinkling
blossoms of heartbreak
on our final goodbye.

A very dear friend of mine died on April 30th four years ago. It’s so painful to lose someone in Spring.

Ellen
I feel your heart and am sadden by the tears of it. Yet I know too, that loss whenever it is, is made bright and hopeful by the blossoms of spring. The newness of life coming out to embrace us with calmness and hope.
Take care of you for me.
Hugs

Thanks, Yisraela. I liked your humorous post and post some humor myself. Too much doom and gloom. Needed some laughs and more importantly think my followers needed some laughs. Hugs, Ellen
