Photons of Golden Light
Photons of gold
the tail end of winter’s light
up close
and far away
the tail end of the light of day
bright yet almost night
wafting with whispers
of a new season
a new reason
to live.

This is a lovely and hope-filled post, Ellen. I adore “wafting with whispers” as I find myself listening and enjoying every hint of spring song in my own neighborhood.

Thanks so much, dear Wendy. Not much sign of spring here although I do hear sparrows in the mornings and my husband saw buds but it is 28 F. Supposed to warm up. I think it is much warmer at your place. Thanks so much for calling me poet friend, poet friend.

A very nice match of words, thoughts, and photographs. Good post, Ellen! 🙂
