TRIUMPH OF SPIRIT IN LOVE, NATURE & ART

The Lone Fir Tree

A lone fir tree

stands stalwart in a forest of red

watching over the turtles sleeping peacefully

in their hibernaculum

in the icy pond

as God

watches over us

A silent night of peace to each of you

and a berry, merry Christmas!

Love always,

Ellen

    • Merry Christmas, Bert and thanks for all the visits. I am behind, way behind because my husband is, I hope, getting over pneumonia. It is very worrisome and I am having a tough time though I know things could be MUCH worse!! All the best to you and your family in 2015 and always, Ellen

      • Thank you, Ellen. I’m more ‘comfortable’ in myself and in my surroundings than I have been for a very long time. I have a great feeling of relief: my moods are better regulated, my new place and neighbourhood don’t disturb what equanimity I may have (in fact they promote it) and I have a delightful new companion in Bella. And, yes, a third blog with our friend Richard!
        Peace to you, Ellen. x o x

      • All sounds very good, Ashley!! Finally!! Glad you are in a place of peace. Forgive me, but I don’t believe I am acquainted with Bella or else it is Alzheimer’s creeping in. I am very happy for you in any case. Peace to you, Ashley. xx oo

    You are so talented, Angel.
The way you know exactly the perfect timing for taking photos, how they are so fab, they look like paintings too, it’s just such a pleasure to see them, along with your soulful poetry.
