Sooooo beautiful, Ellen! Thanks for beautifying my day. Here, in Sofia, we had the first snowfall, so the warm colors of autumn are quiet comforting for the heart. Sending you lots of light, love, and blessings, my friend*
The face of Autumn revealed in these captivating photos! I am reminded of how one of my favorite Irish poets, Louis MacNeice described “the American Fall” as he was riding on the Blue Comet train headed for Jersey City, where he “sat in a luxury Pullman car that was all windows and beyond the windows a reel of autumn madness, the maple trees gone drunk with colour. Tigers and wine, pimento, copper, coral, the bells of St. Clement’s jangling and fanfaronade of trumpets, fireworks out of the ground, Giorgione, Veronese, the tents of all the Sultans. People told me about the American Fall, and this was it.”
