Whispers of Spring
Spring green and faint yellow
Sap flowing amid stone and evergreens
A burst of red
Cows heading past lone bare tree
The hide-out of the Spring Peepers
Layers of Spring texture
Greening grass at end of day
Daydreaming and then, maybe, writing a poem about it. And that's my life.
Let me ease your burdens, if only for five seconds, with amusing or thought provoking stories and photographs.

We hadn’t been there since Christmas because my husband was sick. He is retiring so we have to sell the barn and our days there are numbered. But then aren’t all of ours.

I love the cows walking in a line past the lone tree. In the picture, only they seem to know where they are going, but it also appears to be true that they all know it… One of the things I love about nature is that you never find it confused…
Peace

Ah yes, I remember it in Switzerland from years ago. The first signs of a particular colour of green, for some reason I decied it was a cadmium yellow green. And I see you have noted a faint yellow in the green. I have sunshine all the year round here in India but springtime in Europe is still something special for me and your images of the US East coast reminds me of it, thank you…

Yes, this is how it is. We don’t have distinct seasons, the Fall is every day, I notice the street cleaners are busy sweeping leaves every day where there are trees. New leaves take the place of old leaves all year round. I miss the gentle rainfall too although I remember being depressed by one grey day after another. It all balances out for everyone…

Thank you so much. Sorry, I just found your comment. Yes, it is a beautiful place we live at but we are selling our barn just now and will live in New York City. From one extreme to the other. So sorry to be so late.

Thank you so much, Didi, for reading and visiting and liking. But as I visit your blog I see you have a higher vision to which I aspire. That is better than poems and stories and photos. Right now I am listening to Mooji who is doing open Satsang in Rishikesh. I am hoping to be open to his teachings. Mind is trying to dominate and instill fear in every minute. A purification I suppose. Anyhow thank you for getting me to visit your blog…

Dear Ellen,
Thank for very much for your kind words and attention to my blog, which I appreciate very much. It is said that poets are “half Saints” as they write their poems from their heart. So I think it is also a good way to get to know oneself and see yourself in the reflection of your writing. It helps who we really are: Man know thyself…
I also join the Satsangs of Unity of Man and travel to India, Kirpal Sagar since more then 23 years. I can only say that I am very thankful to my Master, and Dr. Harbhajan Singh and His wife Biji Surinder Kaur who have given me all what I am – so all thanks goes to my Master. To find a competent Master is very difficult, there is maybe 1 in a Billion and He should also be able to give first-hand experience (not into the astral plane but beyond the causal, super-causal plane too, to Sach Khand, the area of pure spirit where is no matter anymore. Your fear comes possibly from your past lives as karma, means: cause and effect – if we are able to take all what life is offering us (bad and good things) in the understanding that we have caused something that we have to pay back to balance it, then the burden is not so strong anymore. There are 4 different types of karma. Most people know only karma – I will explain it another time, if you are interested, dear friend. Now I wish you stable time and with your thoughts in God – it is only our mind that puts us away from again and again. you can also read the book from Kabir: Dialogues of Kabir – a wonderful spiritual book.
All the best dear friend with a good yearning for truth and God
Warm greetings
Didi
