On circuit overload

can’t turn off the current

despite parallel despair

know a fuse will blow

but can do little to stop the flow

mania and depression

together = paranoia

  3. Dear Ellen, your poem is so heartbreakingly honest. I hope for both joy and peace to be the current and flow of your spirit.

  5. Genie

    The mind needs rest when it’s overloaded. All external stimuli that is not of Nature need to be removed and on its own, the mind will calm itself, and the emotions will also settle down into calmness.
