You’ve shown a new light on the beauty of what many of us see as annoying–insects on their backdrop of flowers. Beauty in ways that I typically don’t consider. But the detail and color–love that green spider–are amazing. You have an eye for detail that I truly value. Thanks for this sweet treat today.

Wonderful photos, Ellen! Can’t imagine the patience it must have taken to capture each insect. The beetles offer a lovely green and rust color combination, and that yellow spider is quite spectacular. Who knew insects (besides butterflies) could offer such beauty?

Right now I am reading Yogananda because he reaches something deep inside me that I had in childhood and now is missing but I believe can be revived. Thank you so much for your response. The book “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramhansa Yogananda is a life changing book. Definitely you will be illuminated with unlimited spiritual potential which already exists among all of us, but we have forgotten our real Identity.
