  1. Wow, wonderful photos, Ellen! Love them all (I am fond of BW photography!), but the first one is exceptional—very ethereal and profoundly mystical! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us! Love it! Lots of light, love, and blessings to you, my friend; have a peaceful day*

    • Thank you so .much, Susana! The first one was a happy accident. So glad you found it mystical. That’s mostly been my secret goal in taking photos. Not always but as much as possible. You do it with words. Thank you, my friend! 😊💫🙏🏽

    • Thank you so much, Swadharma!! I try to capture the essence. Trees seem so spiritual to me, praying all the time!🙏🏽😍

  4. A lovely look at the trees as they weather the winter, with so much more grace than their human counterparts do. I really do enjoy seeing the trees at this time of year, through your eyes and I do feel for the one standing alone. I hope a seedling or two has sprouted nearby to keep it company, as the years have gone by. 💙❄️

  6. Even in their winter mode, the lacy delicacy of the bare branches demonstrates the beauty of trees–and people–no matter what age. I love your photos.

  7. They look so unfamiliar for me in Australia – which makes them all the more beautiful – love the “feathery” one! Linda xox

    • Really! That’s interesting that you don’t have them. Thank you! ❣️

      • Almost all trees in Australia are evergreen – they never lose their leaves, so that feathery effect is rare… and it’s just too hot to be foggy / misty / snowy… so that ethereal dream-like quality you captured is missing too… beautiful! xx

  10. The different images of trees and the names you gave them define them beautifully. The “Feather Trees” are particularly beautiful. 🙂

Your pictures are so lovely.  Thank you for the lovely Thanksgiving card.  My computer was on the blink so I just am now seeing your other emails.  Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.  We were with family in Illinois. so we had a great time.  I didn’t answer your ecard because my computer wasn’t working – such as how it goes– sigh!  Take care – keep warm.  Love, Lana

    • Hi, Lana, Oh dear, a broken computer… we are so dependent on them now. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving. We had a lovely, quiet, very low key one. Sorry I missed Lenny’s last story… we had some sort of virus for awhile and I was out of commission with almost everything. Stay well and happy holidays. 😊 Ellen
