The Consciousness Stream

Look carefully below

to see the stream flowing

in between the tangle of greens

and the landscape of rocks

Look carefully within

to hear the whispers of God

in between the jangle of loud thoughts

and the overgrowth of emotions

Heaven lies in the quiet

trickling like a stream

through the spaces of the silence

  2. I love this line, “Look carefully within to hear the whispers of God.” Somehow, nature always is the perfect playground for God to show his magnificence to us!

      • You’re so sweet to inquire, Ellen–my attitude is MUCH improved, which is everything, as you surely know. We’ll see what happens, but I’m pretty sure I can over-come the chronic pain, rise victorious–I’ve got God’s daily help, and my wonderful family of friends here on the blogs. Who could ask for more? Much love to you.
