Thank you, Ellen. The butterfly of eternity and Yogananda’s words complement each other so beautifully. I found his reflection especially comforting after experiencing the loss of someone close. Thank you for sharing this contemplative reminder of hope and eternity. 🦋✨

Through torment, risk, and effort, The cocoon struggled toward the light, So that its silken wings Would astonish our eyes.
Frozen in the nectarine mixture, Like a circus performer on a tightrope, The wings of a velvet dress maintain their balance.
A life of one day Is incomparable to our age, To sit on a forget-me-not Is impossible for a human being.
So, fluttering alone, Kissing the flower petals, She will pass on living pollen to each flower.
When the caterpillar slowly transforms into a cocoon, From beneath the thread fibers Her soul will break free.
Looking back on her past life, She will fly away into the sky. People, we do not die, A butterfly lives within each of us.

The words and photos are so poignant, especially for today with so many lost souls. Figuring out a way to tear away ignorance, to find eternal freedom may well be the most important thing.
