TRIUMPH OF SPIRIT IN LOVE, NATURE & ART

“My Eyes are Leaking”

The world a watery blur

one less source of joy and laughter

on this ailing earth

a delight to so many

in so many ways

“My eyes are leaking”

  3. Dear Ellen, thanks for your comment. Your post really reflects the feeling of depression and loss for the death of Robin Williams. He was a great guy and maybe we should speak more about depressions. Only somebody who knows how it is can understand him, when you feel everything is so dark around you and you cannot see any light at the horizon, that’s sad. Warm regards Mitza

    • Yes, we need to talk more about depression and mental illness in the light of day, not in a stigmatized, judgmental way. Thanks for writing, Mitza. Always good to hear from you! Take care, Ellen

  4. An ocean of tears, of leaking eyes. Tragic loss of a beautiful, gifted man who struggled with bipolar depression, ADHD, and addictions. His was a gentle soul.

“The world” is absolutely beautiful — it is society and the people in it that is the source of pain and suffering.

Nature is the great healer and source of rejuvenation.

It’s important to differentiate between nature and society, or, one can become very despondent.

  7. I meant the earth is ailing because of what man is doing to it and on it.
