These trees you captured in New York city seem to exude such a stately quality, almost regal and proud of their fall finery. I like the look of your block as well and the fact that the buildings are all different (not cookie-cutter) types. I think that makes it more inviting. Thanks for sharing a piece of your home town Ellen, really enjoyed it. 🌳🍂

Oh, Julie, I am so glad you liked it. I am happy to share it with you. You would be painting up a storm here in the Fall maybe.

Thank you for this amazing honor. I am so very grateful. The trees/photographs are gorgeous. This is wonderful and I’m so thankful. I had to have my cat put to sleep today and my heart is broken. These lovely trees are the perfect gift.❤️

I a. So very sorry about your cat. Was that the pregnant one? I know what it feels like. It’s devastating. But at least she is no longer suffering. But you are and I am so very sorry for you.
So glad you liked the New York trees. My heart goes out to you. ❤️

It was a deadly cat virus that they are born with and can manifest at any time. She was in my arms, so she was not along, or afraid, but given hugs, kisses and lots of tears. Thank you again for this beautiful post.

You did a beautiful thing, helping her to die loved and not alone. I wish we humans could have that option if we want it. She was so blessed to have you. I hope she sends you a sign.

Awesome pictures of New York Fall! They sound like melancholic music.
How was it possible in so crowdy city make pictures almost with no people. 🙂

I feel honoured to have the presentation of these works of art dedicated to me and Gigi in Chicago. The images all take my breath away, particularly the one at the end of the sequence, titled: Columbia University in Morningside Heights, Harlem, an astonishing statement of colour. Gratitude

You deserve it, Tiramit! I am so glad you liked the photos. Those trees at Columbia are gorgeous. You can’t see in my photo but there are three of the same trees. The most beautiful on campus. There is one other beautiful one but I couldn’t climb the stairs to get to it. And now you have to have an ID to go on campus because of the pro Palestinian protests. I think New York is prettiest in the Fall.
